Assassin's Creed Rebellion Is Ubisoft's Fallout Shelter

Much like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Rebellion lets you manage your own guild of Assassins. For sure, we play with that and we wanted not only to create a big world but also to make sure that the world is constantly fulfilling your needs, constantly rewarding your discovery.

Assassin's Creed: Rebellion is now in development for mobile devices functioning with at least iOS 8 or Android 4.1.

It also contains elements of the Assassin's Creed Chronicles trilogy of side-scrollers developed by UK-based Climax Studios, although with a more cutesy chibi art style. Your Brotherhood exists in Spain during the height of the Inquisition, giving you plenty of targets to take down. Called Assassin's Creed Rebellion, it's basically Ubisoft's version of Bethesda's Fallout Shelter. In an old Assassin's game, that would be a right old chore, but in Origins... well, it works so well we booted it up twice.

Fallout Shelter hits 100 million players

Assassin's Creed Rebellion will allow you to go on various covert missions, which you will be facing off against the Templars. It offers a roster of 40 Assassins including fan favorites like Ezio, Aguilar, Shao Jun, Claudia, and Machiavelli. Perhaps the most interesting part here is the introduction of a new Animus, which is now able to merge multiple memories from multiple assassins. Your headquarters is built room by room and can be used to train characters and craft equipment. Rebellion is optimized for Android devices running at least 2GB of RAM, so don't be surprised if you happen to experience some slowness or stuttering if your chosen device doesn't quite meet that. We'll find out when the game launches on October 27th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

If you love the series, you may already know that Assassin's Creed Origins is out later this year.
