One of the games potentially impacted by Harvey is the Week 1 matchup between BYU and LSU at Houston's NRG Stadium, as it appears unlikely that game will be held at its intended neutral site location.

Among the locations being mentioned as possible backup sites are the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, the Superdome in New Orleans, LP Field in Nashville and Camping World Stadium in Orlando. However, multiple reports state the game will nearly certainly be relocated, and LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva said both schools are working with ESPN, who controls the rights of the game, on negotiations to get the game moved.

Orgeron said he will show his players the BYU film for anyone saying the Cougars didn't look that look good in Saturday's win over Portland State. The game was postponed and a makeup date will be announced later.
