While Sony hasn't given us details on PlayStation 4 update 5.0 yet, Eurogamer obtained a copy of the patch notes and revealed that it will include the ability for PS4 Pro owners to stream on Twitch at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second.

PS4 Pro Streamers will be happy with this update, as it will allow them to stream at 1080p/60fps.

For instance now, instead of simply following well-known streamers or developers or YouTube personalities on their own Playstation accounts, a similar system to the Xbox One is being put in place where you can follow anyone that you want to.

A release date has been provided for PS4 firmware 5.0. Sony will also be updating the PlayStation App with an improved design and performance.
