Police were initially called to Columbus-Scioto High School around 8:30 a.m. Friday in reference to the active shooter.

School officials told police the student fired multiple shots inside the school.

According to court records, Adan Abdullahi, 18, is charged with improperly discharging a firearm in a school safety zone, a second-degree felony.
