Bungie has removed a Destiny 2 gauntlet that featured a "hate symbol" from the FPS, saying that the similarity pointed out by the game's players was "not intentional".

Destiny 2 server maintenance will be a monthly routine as clarified by Bungie although this extended maintenance period is proving to be a frustration for some users who are voicing their disappointment over reddit, Twitter and other social media platforms. The flag was made to represent a fictional country known as "Kekistan" and was intentionally created to resemble the Nazi Germany flag.

This flag has recently been seen amongst white supremacist groups, such as those marching in the United States in recent weeks.

The number of victims in the quake in Mexico has risen
Sixteen fatalities were registered in the state of Chiapas and four more in Tabasco . The US had thanked Mexico for the offer and said only logistical aid was needed.

The symbol is reminiscent of what can be found on the "Kekistan flag", which is a meme that has been repurposed as an alt-right symbol based in Nazi symbolism. "We are removing it", Bungie said in a series of tweets this afternoon. This does NOT represent our values, and we are working quickly to correct this. "We renounce hate in all forms".

If the gauntlet is the item Bungie has removed from the game, it's now unclear if they plan to replace it in players' inventories, or if it will disappear altogether.

The developer says that it was unaware that there were any similarities in the design and, once it was brought to its attention, Bungie removed the armour from the game. "It will be removed from inspections and icons in a hot fix planned for next week".
