The indictment includes allegations stemming from incidents on June 30 and July 28 and charges for additional alleged victims police found following an investigation.

Tony Covington, State's Attorney for Charles County, Maryland, in conjunction with Charles County Sheriff Troy Berry and Superintendent of Charles County Public Schools Dr. Kimberly Hill, advises that on Friday, October 20, 2017, the Grand Jury for Charles County returned a 206 count indictment for Carlos Deangelo Bell of Waldorf.

Between the time Bell's digital devices were seized by police in December 2016 and the time he was arrested in June 2017, Bell is accused of sexually exploiting three children and soliciting a fourth, according to a WTOP analysis of court documents. Authorities have said that some of the evidence found included graphic images of Bell sexually assaulting victims.

The number of victims believed to have been abused by a track coach and school aide in Maryland has nearly doubled: A 206-count indictment made public this week accuses 30-year-old Carlos Deangelo Bell of abusing 42 boys between May 2015 and June 2017, Fox reports.

The 30 year old is now facing a total of 206 charges on accusations of sexually assaulting almost 50 underage students at at least seven middle schools and recording it on video. As of now, the state's attorney's office said it is not aware of any victim having tested positive. Bell was sacked from his job as a middle school teacher's aide in December of previous year after authorities started investigating inappropriate text exchanges between Bell and a student. Police believe several of the assaults took place on school grounds, according to the indictment.

Bell, who is HIV-positive, has been charged with five counts of attempting to transfer the virus.

Bell worked at La Plata High School as a track coach, but was removed from the school when the investigation was launched.

Investigators said the assaults happened at his home, on school property and possibly other locations. He is being held without bond and the start date of the trial has been set for January 8, 2018.

Bell faces up to life in prison if convicted. CNN has contacted Bell's attorney, but has not received a response.
