Everton caretaker David Unsworth said his side's first-half performance against Leicester City "wasn't acceptable" and called for the club's next permanent manager to be given time to address the team's problems.

Everton started poorly against Leicester and fell behind to Jamie Vardy's 18th-minute opener and Demarai Gray's deflected cross shortly after.

"It was more hard in the second half because Everton are good. The main thing is we got three points".
