Call of Duty: WWII is getting some much needed updates

Call of Duty WW2 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. At least, not yet.

Throughout launch week and most notably this weekend, Call of Duty: WWII quite simply hasn't been working. When disconnected from the game after a match, the game does not give you credit for the challenges you've completed such as completing a win in a particular game mode for example. Since the game released, I've yet to see a single other player in the game's online social hub, dubbed Headquarters.

If you thought that you were leveling up a bit too quickly in Call of Duty: WWII, you were right-the game was accidentally launched with double XP active, according to Michael Condrey, the chief operating and development officer of Sledgehammer Games. In a bid to dampen worries of its online connectivity issues, developer Sledgehammer Games has addressed player complaints in its latest blog post. On Sunday, SHG says that they had begun testing dedicated servers in limited markets and are looking for a permanent solution and expanded rollout of this feature.

"As we focus on the return to dedicated servers as our highest priority, we will continue to utilize a solo-HQ experience". We'll watch this test closely, and once we analyze the results we'll look to expand. Apparently, the first update solved a few problems in terms of online connectivity, but killed server performance. We'll monitor the results, and keep everyone updated.

Google Pixel 2 XL hit with unresponsive edges issue

KGI analyst expects three iPhones next year, two with OLED
Apple hasn't officially said anything about this issue and expected to receive an official comment from the same. Like previous iPhones, or other smartphones for that matter, the iPhone X too is susceptible to certain issues.

Benatia sends Morocco to World Cup
They'll join Nigeria, Egypt and Senegal as the continent's five representatives at next year's tournament in Russian Federation . The failure to reach the World Cup after being ever-present since 2006 will put pressure on coach Marc Wilmots.

"We're proud to pay tribute to these incredible heroes and want to invite the entire gaming community to celebrate their heroism and living memories".

For the time being, fixing Headquarters is low priority for Sledgehammer, and while it will get to fixing the social space, it is now focusing on "the most pressing concerns first". This new update will be rolled out to console players before coming to PC. This follows a Game Update which did more harm than good. And this isn't Activision's first rodeo.

Call of Duty WW2 made $500 million in sales over the course of its opening weekend.

Two major changes come to Call of Duty: WWII today.
