As was earlier reported, Judge Genece E. Brinkley sentenced the rapper after ruling that he'd violated multiple provisions of his probation from a 2008 drug and gun case.

While both of those cases were dropped, now the judge determined those arrests alone were enough to lock him up for a minimum of two years. Her ex-boyfriend Meek Mill spent three months under house arrest just past year for violating his probation stemming from an arrest in 2008. and he just did it again, according to TMZ!

Mill was put on house arrest for 90 days a year ago for a probation violation.

Jay-Z, whose Roc Nation company represents Meek Mill, responded to the sentence in a Facebook post last night (November 6), calling it "unjust and heavy-handed". His legal team plans to appeal, while rapper Jay Z called the sentencing "unjust and heavy-handed" on social media.

Mill was also arrested after a scuffle in March at the St. Louis airport.

As she delivered her sentence she told the rapper, 'I'll be done with you'.
