Princess Michael apologizes for blackamoor brooch worn to lunch with Meghan Markle

Princess Michael, also dubbed "Princess Pushy", has issued an apology for wearing the brooch and claimed it was a gift that she has wore many times before.

Markle, who is engaged to marry Prince Harry in May of next year, spent her first Christmas with the royals at Buckingham Palace this week.

The princess is described on her website as a "Writer, Historian, Lecturer, Interior Designer and Art Consultant".

While we don't know if Meghan broached the topic of the brooch with her future in-law, we do know this isn't Princess Michael of Kent's first experience with conscious or unconscious racism.

Princess Michael quickly earned criticism on social media.

The offending item of jewellery could be seen clearly pinned to the 72-year-old's coat as she was photographed driving through the gates of Buckingham Palace on Wednesday (20 December).

The princess personally has made little attempt to ingratiate herself with the royal family or the British public, having publicly called the Queen and Prince Philip "boring" and Princess Diana "ill-educated". This woman is an embarrassment to the Royal Family'.

She is thought to have been introduced to Ms Markle, who was attending her first such lunch after her engagement to Harry was announced last month. If Markle's engagement photo dress was any indication, her wedding dress is going to be beyond stunning!

She then added, "I traveled on African buses. It's just a genealogical thing, just a fact of life", she said. The publication also notes that this is not the Princess' first offence in the race department, she allegedly told a group of Black diners in NY to "go back to the colonies" in the year 2004. "I had this adventure with these absolutely adorable, special people and to call me racist: it's a knife through the heart because I really love these people", she commented.
