Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi headline the 2017 UEFA Team of the Year.

European football's governing body announced its annual Team of the Year on Thursday, after nearly 8.8 million votes were cast by users on UEFA's official website.

World's most expensive player Neymar Jr has been left out of the UEFA Fan's Team of the Year but Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City are included to represent the Premier League.

The team included five Real Madrid players, two Juventus players and one player from Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain each.

The centre of midfield is being run by a Real Madrid axis of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
