Thomas Lawton Evans, 37, from Charleston County, identified as the driver of the vehicle in which Todd was found, was arrested in MS, according to ABC News 4. Once Oliver got the child, Evans took off in his auto before eventually being stopped in Mississippi.

Todd was reported missing on Tuesday at a home on Sweetleaf Lane in the Whitney Lake subdivision on Johns Island.

Later, he said: 'Heidi is a bright, precious young child.

Heidi is believed to have been taken sometime Tuesday.
