Wales vow to target Conor Murray and Johnny Sexton

Wales will attempt to shut down Ireland half-back stars Johnny Sexton and Conor Murray in Saturday's Six Nations clash.

Gatland coached both men on last summer's Lions tour of New Zealand and says Wales must "attack them".

"We have got to put Conor and his kicking game under pressure", Gatland said after naming his team (Joe Schmidt will wait until Thursday to unveil his line-up).

"People underestimate how good Wales are defensively, how good they are in attack, you saw how well they played in the second half against England and, on a dry day, they can carve teams up".

"The way Wales played at home against them previous year was outstanding, the kind of model and benchmark to take to Ireland". We have got to be physical against them up-front and stop the running power of someone like CJ Stander, and stop allowing Murray and Sexton to dominate the game. It's a huge credit to him and we've always got on well and had that mutual respect even before the Lions tour.

Providing a boost to that end is the return of Liam Williams, Leigh Halfpenny and Dan Biggar to the back-line.

Charlotte Hornets unlikely to retain Rich Cho, Plan to pursue Mitch Kupchak
You never want to hear about someone losing their job, but it's hard to argue with the Hornets looking to go in another direction. "It's been a privilege to serve as the Charlotte Hornets' General Manager for the past seven years", Cho said in a statement.

In the build-up to Saturday's game, Gatland was quizzed about whether he thinks Ireland have been the best team in the Six Nations so far. Episode 51 of The Hard Yards features class interviews with Tadhg Furlong and Shane Williams, and previews Ireland vs. Wales in the Six Nations.

"The fact we've been there before and had success is something we can draw on", McBryde said. Our discipline has been excellent in the first two games.

And fellow winger Liam Williams was also on the scoreboard for his English club as he proved his fitness after groin and abdominal injuries with a fine solo try for Saracens as they won at Sale on Friday. Two or three of Ireland's tries against Italy were from turnover situations and an interception.

"There will be a few tough calls on some individuals and we look forward to having that discussion later".
