Dicht and Weinman told reporters this week she was spitting sand out of her mouth because her face was pressed to the ground.

The videos provide context minutes before the initial bystander video, which begins when an officer is already on top of Weinman, capturing the moment he brings his fist and forearm on and around her head.

Police have released bodycam video of a confrontation between police and a 20-year-old woman on the beach this past Saturday afternoon whom police accused of underage drinking. She's heard telling officers it belongs to her aunt before she's given a breathalyzer test twice and asked her age and name.

The footage then shows Weinman backing away from the officer, before he tosses her to the ground by her hair.

The officers involved in the incident have been reassigned pending the outcome of the investigation. Watch the newly released police body cam video and tell us your opinion at the end of this article. "You're choking me", she is screaming. The first two officers then attempt to handcuff Weinman. The department says the delay in releasing the body camera footage was the result of the time it took to hide the identities of juveniles and other citizens in the video. I'd like to see that perspective to see if it was really her trying to shove the cop or her arms simply going up in a surprised defensive way and him running into those arms.

New Jersey police released body cam footage on Wednesday that shows the violent arrest of 20-year-old Emily Weinman on a beach in New Jersey over Memorial Day Weekend.

According to the post, an officer followed her after the encounter.

The officer decided Weinman and the other woman would pour out the alcohol. And now we have video from the point of view of the police.

When the woman refuses to give her last name, the officer loses his patience. Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano said that one good thing that will come from this incident is that the city will have a better police department because of it. "Don't cuff me!" Weinman says. "I didn't do anything wrong". An officer can be heard saying, "You're about to get dropped".

Now that seen the footage has been released, the attorney for Emily Weinman says it's clear the officers used excessive force, while the mayor of Wildwood believes his officers acted appropriately in what became an intense situation. "Maybe not. But then again maybe she did deserve it, I don't know", Troiano added.
